intercooler vs oil cooler

:dunno: so a stupid ? what is the difference between a intercooler and an oil cooler. i know the oil cooler but im not into turbos and i was wondering if they do the same thing. i was thinking about installing one but dont know wich one. is th eintercooler for higher psi then stock? being a ka with 230,000 mo=iles on it i want to try to run as cool as i can in the summer.thanx in advance

oil cooler cools oil. intercooler cools intake air. when you compress air it generates heat. yay physics! most oem turbo charged cars use a smaller intercooler, but it all depends on the setup. say a big turbo and 20+ psi and youll want a big intercooler
