KA - Natural Power?

Alright, I have been reading all of the forums on here and im still kinda stuck on a decision I am trying to make...

I want to change up my engine and get more power out of my 240-RPS13 (dont we all). The thing is that this is my daily driver and I really dont need TONS of power like 300HP or something like that, so I have had a debate in front of me. I really dont want to start a which is better debate, but here is the question.

I have been debating on going KA-T, SR-20, or NA-KA. I am really only wanting like 200-250HP out of my car at the most.

How much HP can I get out of a well tuned NA-KA?

I want real numbers - doesnt have to be perfect, but any kind of dyno that people have would be very helpful. It doesnt matter what it has in the car, that is fine with me, I will do it, I just want to know what kinds of numbers I can expect to really get if I decide to go NA-KA to help me make a better decision.

Again, i dont want a debate on which engine style is the best, I want to make a decision on that based on my budget and what I really feel will be best... I know what SR-20 and KA-T can do, but i want to know about NA-KA.

I know that Big Vinnie has a thread here somwhere about getting 200 hp out of a NA DE motor, do a search for it. But it involces removing the head and doing some portwork......
that will involve more down time for you than i thin kyou are lookin gfor in a daily driver, which also goes for the sr20 unless you have everythign you need before you start.

You can get that power from the DE but i dont know what it will cost.

From what you are describin i think the boosted KA would be your bet. still a bit of money bu tless down time since you dont have to go into the motor.

Or, you can spend $500 on a nitrous kit, get 200+ at the wheels on the bottle, and have a car that's totally stock for daily driving...

See, I think Nitrous is for people who want to race, or beat that person that wants to race you at the light towards the supermarket. Nitrous is only good as long as you have the botle full. But with mods and all, you get the power all the time. now I would recomend going for some cams, valve springs, port & polish, hot shot headers, cat back N1 exahust. That should give you about 200 HP. But I dunno, also maybe some better inyectors and do all the litle tricks on the intake like :the secondary valves, coolant bypass, etc.

If your car is really RPS13 then you have an SR and dont need to worry about KA.

Since i just had to point that out, just get the AEM ecu.

They got 45hp out of a S14 KA with intake.
Justed tuned it really well.

A few months back I left a thread on KA dyno's...
http://www.club240.com/forums/showth...highlight=dyno
These dyno's show and prove that if NA tuners take the proper route to just get cams, and an ecu tune 200CHP is easily achievable. Problem is some people find the route to make that power too expensive... Jim wolfe cams $700, and a Jim Wolfe ECU tune $600. You could try to pull those HP numbers off with PDM cams for $500, but I highly dought it, I would say more like 190~195CHP.
My build isn't done yet and like everybody I became sidetracked buying bolt on's. I don't mind spending the additional money on bolt on's I think it is fun......

here is as best as i can give you i wish i would have done the dyno work so i could give you dyno sheets and some other information that a dyno sheet can tell you... but here is my best so far...
