KA24E Gas comming out my exhaust manifold
 

I put the new Ka24e in and started it but it started like **** and shakes like theres no tomorrow.. Now my question is i got Raw gas comming out of my exhaust manifold .. and i want to know what can be causing it not to burn the fuel?? Ive had several mechanics look at the fuel injectors and they say its not the injectors.. I believe it to be cylinder 2 thats not burning the fuel but what can it be... Bad timming?? bad plugs and cables?? or is it my distributer ?? thanks in advance...

best case scenario...check your ignition first, and make sure you have the spark plug wires routed properly, then do a power balance test. Pull each spark plug wire off individually, and find out which cylinder(s) is not firing. Then pull the plug and make sure it looks ok. If it looks ok, then test the secondary ignition system (wires, dist. cap, rotor...etc) by sticking the spark plug into the wire, and touching the plug to engine ground. Hopefully it won't spark, and it should be smooth sailing from there. Swap the wire for another and see if it sparks, if it does, then it's the wire. If not, then pull off the dist. cap and make sure the contacts aren't all corroded up or worn down. Also check the dist rotor to make sure it isn't all corroded or worn down....good luck

I just had the exact same problem! My was not running on the 1st cylinder and I did injector, dist, plugs and so on. What it ended up being was my fuel regulator was bad. Dont forget to change your oil because if it anything like I had your oil will be 90 percent fuel.
