ka24e pipe dream
 

Ok so I have a ka24e in my car and i was wondering if it was possible to have rev up to or near 9 or 10 grand. I realize if it is possible it won't be cheap or an easy task to accomplish just want you guy's input. i know it is sort of a pipe dream but any input on how to accomplish would be great

anything is possible with money.. however you will spend TONS of it. these motors are not made to rev insanely high..... they don't need to

with max tq at 4400rpms and hp at 5600rpms, i don't see the point. sure that will change with mods, but there's a reason those specs are what they are.

so I realize that these motors are not meant to rev that high but i was wondering what it would take other than most my money. I was thinking with cam ground for high rpm application would definitely be necessary be what else. I know it is a flight of fancy but this car is not my dd or work car. And i really like the high rpm scream of a 4 cylinder. I want know what parts i would need to do this to see if this is even feasible

I can't afford an s2000 so that's out the question

you don't need a f20 or f22c .... any Honda engine can do it as they are already up there.

valves, springs and head work... and you can have a 9k rpm beast...... however say goodbye to low end Tq... heck go rotary...

Yeah my idea's don't always follow logic. and want to do something a little different with this car. I want to keep the car n/a. what kind of head work and valves and springs. I'm trying to figure about how much money i would be looking at spending to do it right

why don't you humor us and give us a target hp?
