my 240 is acting weird after i got stuck in a snow bank.
I got stuck in a snow bank today. The only way I got out was to rock it back and forth until i broke free. Soon afterward everything started to act weird. My car died at the first light. I started it back up, and it died again. It began to run after I gave it more gas and holding it. When driving along I notice my car was reading 30mph but I know I was going alot slower than that. There was a burning smell and my car was only reving up to 3000 rpm with the gas all the way down. The car choked even with the clutch held down. When I start up the car in gear the car keeps alive for a few second without holding on the clutch. I really need some help with this car problem and my FOB grammer^.:(

about 218,000 miles:D. I was running strong before i got stuck. I also forgot to mention windsheid wiper stop working along the way. Could it be my alternator?

have checked to see if you riped any wires loose
any strang noises from moter, tranny, rear end? what was the smell like? ( oil, rubber, electrical) |
I think I found the problem. It has to do something with the charging system. The car started up with no problem the next day. Lately the belt squil when I first start it up and the car have to turn for awhile before it starts up. The only reason my mph kept climbing is because I was driving uphill while loosing traction. I have to check the voltage on both of them when I have the chance. thanks for all the help guys.:dunno: :D
