not even a day with my 240..
 

owned my 240 for a day started it in my driveway 5 minutes later the eletrical harness from the MAF sensor right by the fuel rail starts to smoke. It was very hott and melted some of the wires what is the cause?

need serious help please!!!

A Short perhaps?

well the wires were exposed and it made a poping noise and the car just turned off so maybe any other help greatly aprreictaed!

check your fuses/relays. And learn to solder if you dont know how to, lol.

Im with 240kid on the short. look around for worn insulation. some wires could be touching each other.

Sounds like a bad ground.

so nothing serious you guys think my inside lights work still and my headlights will go and the car will try to turn over but seems like there no fuel pressure thats why im assuming the no start

oh yeah and i have a turbo ka not stock

maybe the heat from the turbo melted some wires....?
