On inspection of our little KA24E engine last night we were pulling all the excess baggage from it. I noticed a small black cover attached to the pass. side of the block with a vacuum line running to the intake manifold. Now i'm thinking..what the hell is that??

Also which Nissan tech guide is going to be the most informative on the 240sx?

 

that doesn't make any sense to me.
Do you have a FSM? because if you're gonna rebuild the engine it'll help, as well as answer these questions. If you can be more descriptive or a pic i'll be more helpful.
