question

I know blue smoke from the exhaust means your car is burning oil. Well I started my crippled 240 up the other day and low and behold, blue smoke was coming out of the exhaust. Now like I said I know its burning oil but what could some of the causes of it be?

i'd say rings.
do a compression test
and a leakdown test
find the problem and try to fix it....

Most common cause is leaky valve seals, especially on the exhaust valves.
