Seafoam?
I keep hearing about seafoam. I'm just wondering how it works? what's in it? when to use it? what is it? Thanks, sorry for being dumb and lazy though guys.....and girls (didn't want to offend any females). Hook it up with the info. I'm just lazy to leave my chair and hit the store to find out.

seafoam is a petrololeum(sp) based product that can be added to the fuel system and the oil to clean out all harmful nasty stuff.
i used it in both crankcase and fuel. it smoked for a while then cleared right up. i guess they olny sell it at NAPA. i read about it and used it. it works better then anything else i've used in the fuel GUNK five minute flush works wonders in the oil though. just try it out see how you like it. (seafoam) use it in the fuel every-so-often and run it for a few miles in the oil before a change. mind you its petrol based so no lube problems will occur. get some and just read the lable ;) |

Just do routinley oil changes. I would add Lucas Oil stabilizer i believe its called. Oil additive better than most imho. good luck :thumb: |
It specifies, when added to oil, add before oil change because of carb deposit will be in oil pan, I was just wondering when you do your fuel system, would the fuel filter need to be replaced? and also the brake booster, would the brake fluid need to bled and fill with new ones?
