spark plug gap on KA24E

Does anyone know the proper spark plug gap for the KA24E? I see FSM for the KA24DE everywhere, is it the same?

hmmm

Yeah, what do you gap em at? I honestly guessed when I did mine and set them to 0.041". No problems so far. Whats the proper gap?

I was told .040 on another forum. Close enough for the girls I go with.

Fellas...

If you get ngk's they are pre-gapped. But the spec is 1mm.

Bosch

I bought some Bosch Platinum 2's.

Are they decent? They weren't the cheapest and the guy said they should work well.

NGK rated better? Any opinions?

apples and oranges...a little different but all fruit. If you have luck with them, run them. I used to have a VW..early air cooled..and ran nothing but bosch with excellent results.
NGK's are just original equipment. And the best thing about plugs is exactly like what you said...they dont cost that much so you can change them out with out breaking the bank.
