Speedometer problem
 
yeah i have a problem with my speedometer. the needle wont move at all so i don't know how fast i'm going. the tech works fine just not the speedometer:dunno: does anyone know what it could be?

Its attatched to the tranny. (not trying to be a smart ass, some dont know.) Should be near the output.

Ehh I forgot to mention. I dont know if its the same on a 240 but i'm assuming it is. I did one on another vehicle (RWD) and you'll lose tranny fluid. So be prepared.

alright thanks for the heads up i still never had the chance to check it yet though but i will probably check tomorrow when i wake up. and what exactly would i do when i check that would i have to replace it or is there anything i can do just to fix it? again thanks

You can check it with a multimeter. If its got continuity through it then its good. If you get an infinite reading then its got an open and its bad. (more then likely)
