Angry Squeaky, squeaky clutch pedal?

Every so often, expecially after driving a lot in stop and go traffic, my clutch pedal becomes horribly noisy. It makes a croaking/squeaking sound when pressed or released. Last time it did this my slave cylinder soon went out. However, I recently had that replaced again (a couple months ago). It seems to occur more in cold weather. When it has been in the shop in the past I've asked the mechanics to lube it, but it doesn't seem to help for very long. How can I fix this permanently?

I dont know about a permanent fix...a lil bit of grease will help out. WD40 is another way to go...but that isnt always permanent

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention....

A little while before this squeaking started to become a common occurance, I found pieces of what looked like a white plastic collar or spacer about 1 cm in diameter. I saved the pieces, and they have reminants of grease on them. I found this piece on my floormat below my pedals. Could it be something from the clutch pedal????

Let us know how it works out mine does the same thing. I tried squirting gun oil and seemed to make it better for a little bit but noise came back after a while.

Jam your head under the dash with a bright light and put grease on anything metal moving on the clutch peday assembly; it's better than spraying oil blindly in the vicinity. I did this to my car 2 months or so ago and it's still quiet
