Timing Marks?
 
Im currently putting my engine back together and I bought new timing chains but Im sitting here trying to wonder where I can find a site or something for the timing marks to make sure I time my car right.

My engine was torn completyl down and I need to put the sprockets chains etc back on but I wanna do it correctly does any one kno where I can get this Info?

Ohh and also I checked that zeroyon site for torque specs and I dles it but its isnt working does any one have any other sites I can get torque specs for my car.

there should be silver links on your timing chain, put the silver marks so that they line up with the dots on the sprockets, and it should be right. i know the dots are both on the right side of the engine from the front when no. 1 cylender is at top dead center. Here i just drew this up cuz my FSM wont let me copy stuf from it

Thanks alot Bro that would help alot...Nah I cant see that pic its way to small But my email adress is 95240sxs14@comcast.net...

And I need torque specs on the Heead studs/Bolts the flywheel,pressureplate the crank pulley bolt,cam retainers, and the crank main bearing beam...

Ohh by the way man Is it hard to put that motor back together it was no prob at all ripping it apart but I sit back and look at the timing and stuff and its confusin I dont wanna do nothing wrong...Alot of new parts were bought dont wanna put em to waste..I mean alot

connecting rod,Piston All new piston rings,Crankshaft,Main bearings,Rod bearings,Head gasket,Head was milled down by machine shop,Piolot bearing,Stage 3 clutch with 11lb flywheel,belts,upper and lower timing chain a whole bunch of crap it costed me alot of money and alot of complaining from my baby momma aka my gf...Lol please email me some info and some advice on putting her back together....

Is it hard dropping the motor back in and getting it back on the tranny?? my trans is still bolted up in spot.

i dont find it hard, and putting it back in the car is probably the easyest part, now lineing it up with the tranny isnt all that hard, as long as you got a couple of freinds to help getit the right way, its really alot wasier if you had the tranny out, and put the engine and tranny in together. I will send you the stuff for touques and Jimwolf does have all the diagrams, alot better then i can draw.
