Question Valve overlap?

Is there valve overlap between the valves and pistons?

Or should I say if your timing chain skips is there a good chance you'll pusha valve thru a piston?

Yes, the 240 engines are interference engines, as are most 4-cylinder engines. That means that at the piston's highest point and the valve's lowest point, there is overlap. If you throw a valve or break ur chain, you're pretty much screwed.
