where should the 240sx idle?
My 240 is falling under 1000 rpm, when i first turn it on and then the car turns off. where should the car be idle'n? and how do i adjust this? :dunno:

maybe you shoulda swapped out the auto ecu for a 5speed one :p
|
when warm, my idle is at like 750
|
750 @ 160 degrees farenheit.
Car sounds like it has some problems. I know mine is starting up at 30 degrees and I wait until 120 before I start to move. |
such a "wise man" with foolish questions.
you have lots of money to waste. buy a ***ing FSM |

Re: the ecu?
Originally posted by DCTperformance It could be that, but this used to happen even with the auto tranny, so i think it could be something else. any way to adjust the idle point? :spin: |

the 240 should idle at 1000rpm when its cold, and 750rpm when warm...straight out of the service manuel that nissan uses
|
700 +/- 50rpms when warm.
