woohoo! it lives!
alright, for you who have endoured my n00b posts..
i got my car running, it runs well, just idles at about 710 but i think its because i have a small vac leak in my stock intake boot that goes from the end of the plastic onto the throttle body. but i can get that fixed when i get the intake... but for now, i am looking at maybe tuning it up a bit, any suggestions? i am in the process of doing all the fluids and already did the plugs, even though they are just regular NGK plugs. also the fule filter is done with so yea..
but i figured that the few people who cared when it didn't run would like to know that it does now!
but anyways, its time to do brakes, i was thinking of just replacing them OEM but i am not sure.. i dont have the money for 5 lug conversion either.. but i figured that i can get the 4 rotors, pads, and calipurs for less than 1500 which is a big brake front kit.
i got a kid coming by on tuesday to tell me if he can do the body work or not, i am going to send it out and strip it then sand blast/walnut blast/bead blast it then seal it and prime it so it will be good to go! but i think its going to take alot to get the car into ok condition.
if any of you have other suggestions let me know!
or if any of you can hook me up, i am in NE ohio!
thanks,
-slo
