Just a little heads up to those who like these things. The place where I work at just started carrying Initial D dvd's and Option 2 videos for rental. There's a couple other import car videos that they rent, but I can't remember off the top of my head.

Kearny is east of Newark. Its about a 30 minute ride. I do the commute a lot since I attend Rutgers and work up north.

 

are the initial D vids the english subtitle or english like old Bruce Lee fliks?

I have heard rumors of a translated version being made. There are some problems though. The "americanization" of it has things changed and situations toned down.

I have all of the episodes and the battle stages. Pretty good. I lost one and have not finished watching them all.

They are the english subtitled versions.

They just got in copies of Bum Fights. I don't know if you guys ever heard of this, but its where they solicit bums to fight each other. It's really insane.

 

i got all of it except battle stage (no real point) on VHS coppied from the DVD. its all subtitled, good quality. the american version will be crap. theyre changing names and everything. **** me off.
