camcorder tripod

i've noticed that a few of you guys have posted videos of you guy doing your thing. i'd like to make a short video myself but need to know what trips are good for what i want to do. i want something that i can mount inside the car and not have to worry about it falling over. i've seen different one on line but i though i'd ask those who have experience in this.

this is what i have in mind right now.

Panavise 809 all the way
http://www.amazon.com/Panavise-809-C.../dp/B000246ST6

dont be discouraged about the price it is an extremely solid product and has never fallen off on me or Dave.

for the price i was expecting to feel cheep and when i got it i was surprised because it in no way feels cheap. get it

the panavise stand looks to be what i need. the only thing down side i see i the limitation as to where i can be mounted. the stickypod is more than i'm willing to spend for the intended use.
