TypeX180 05-27-2008 08:00 AM

what a tool

jramosthe1st! 05-27-2008 08:08 AM

used car lots at one point in time would use acrylic powder to temporally seal or reduce oil leaks. maybe that's where he got the idea.

cronux 05-27-2008 08:59 AM

yea, but still... if i add anything to my oil or my coolant, i make sure that i know what it is, what it does, and if i'm doing it right. i researched seafoam for like 3 hours before using it the first time, just to be sure.

crazydrifter 05-29-2008 11:27 PM

hey cronux how did you use seafoam? did you just put it in the vacuum line or in the gas, oil, and vacuum? i have been looking into that stuff and i have seen a bunch of differnt ways its used.

shrimpscampi 06-01-2008 04:21 PM

Sucks for that guy...

ryguy 06-02-2008 05:03 PM

Honestly, why would you not read the directions?

P.S. Seafoam is cool as hell when you use it through the brake booster vacuum line. You can drive around town making insanely thick clouds of smoke.

*Grabs pen and paper*

So... how do you do this again and what happens when you go driving around town???

ryguy 06-19-2008 10:34 PM

Just buy a bottle of seafoam, and follow the directions for using it in teh vacuum lines. For a minute afterwards your exhaust will be making smokescreens everywhere.

crazydrifter 06-20-2008 12:05 PM

did it and loved it, im getting like an extra 40 miles to the tank now haha

NiSmO Knight 06-20-2008 01:26 PM

Youre kidding me right? just from using seafoam?

you should probably specify about it being added to the gas. i'm assuming that's what you're referring to.

crazydrifter 06-21-2008 12:02 PM

nope just through the vaccum line, my last tank of gas i got about 240 miles and after seafoam my current tank is at 280 and i still got some left

jramosthe1st! 06-21-2008 03:13 PM

i was assuming it was in the gas because thats when i've noticed a gain in mpg myself.
