Yep after waiting and waiting for one to come up on yahoo.co.jp in the auctions I finally got one. Already painted black, with the vents and scoop already on it and setup for hood pins and the stock latch. The best part it that I ended up only paying 1,000Yen for it not counting the 3,000Yen I had to pay for shipping it to me. Not bad at all. Hell of a nice way to finish the week. Next up is the fiberglass rear hatch and then relocate the battery to the trunk.

 

you only paid like $10 for the hood?!?!?!? god damn man. that's a steal.

 

yahoo.co.jp auctions is the greatest place for parts I've ever found. I'm going to miss it if I ever move. There was a 1993 GTI-R on there the other day for $316 US and there was nothing wrong with it.

i know all about em. i got my sideskirts on there. but guess what. THEY ****ING GOT CRUSHED!!!!! they were in shipment to my contact in okinawa and they got crushed.
