Well i don't have a story for you because I don't street race, but I would suggest going to www.streetracing.org and searching their forums if you haven't already.

Talk about how it was popular when street racing was first popular, like in the 50's or something. When greasers would race for pinks or just for the hell of it. And then close it all up with a brief discussion on The Fast and the Furious. Monkey see, monkey do right there. In addition, you should talk about how it effects our society and how many accidents increased after the release of that wonderful movie. I'm not bashing on the movie or anything.... well, i am sorta. NOS NOS NOS NOS NOS!!!! NOOOOSSSSS!!!!

want more info? just keep bumping this thread n i'll help ya out. i'm not much of n e-mail person. GL

why street racing is dangerous ayy.... I say rent/buy 10 street race videos. Record how many times you see a crash in each video and how bad it was. Create a Matrix with the seriousness of the crash on one axis and how often it's likely to occur. It's almost a guarranty that every one of those movies has a crash in it. If it doesn't you didn't buy a street race vid. you bought a show documentary.

I did the exact same thing in hs as my senior research paper. I did a lot of research and my teacher complimented me on how well written it was and the info it had. She especially like how I wrote about both views on racing. The racer and normal people's views on racing. E-mail me at teamcircuitracers@yahoo.com if u hav ne questions. Ill be glad to help u out
