KA24DET vs VR38DETT

i know you guys dont like street racing, neither do i but i have to post this... this red s13 built to drag race is making serious power looks how he pulls on a GT-R that runs 10.3 at the 1/4mile...
i know details cause the owner is local ive talked to him b4

its no joke... hes making 700+whp

jramosthe1st! 03-25-2009 09:32 AM

i wounder if it's the same guys from the article. it just seems unlikely that there would be two 700hp ka's all of a sudden.

i vote the gt-r wasn't even trying?? lol

shaban 03-25-2009 02:15 PM

if it's a 700hp KA, then I'm pretty sure he was trying quite hard... and even if he was running it at full potential he wouldnt keep up.

battosaii930 03-25-2009 07:01 PM

the GTR was trying that race was his closest ever meaning it disapeared the slowest

and ramos no that article isnt him but this guy has been building his ka for years it wasnt a sudden thing

jramosthe1st! 03-25-2009 07:32 PM

do you have any details on the engine?

on a bit of a side note there was a speed related death near by late night tuesday i believe it was. nothing is certain from what i've read other than the driver was going too fast and died at the scene. his passenger was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but the driver of the van he hit was not seriously injured.

he was driving a rb'd 240 so there have been quite a few speculations as to what lead to the crash. the only thing that is certain at this point is that; he was going too fast, was 18, is now dead, and his g/f is in critical condition. so just something to keep in mind when out on the streets.

thats the problem people are stupid when they are young they shouldnt be allowed to have a fast car till they have had a few cars atleast...

I agree. I destroyed my first car.... well....

a train did.

I had respect for my first car becuase I built it for a year before I got my license. I had too much money in it to risk it doing something stupid. Same thing goes with the Mustang, too much time and money invested to go do something dumb. Guess what.....the 240 will be the same way. My father was smart, he bought the car when I was 15, taught me to drive for a year before I got my license, and let me buy parts and mod it before I could even legally drive it around the block. He is the reason I'm alive and all my cars are still in one piece. Except the 240....thats in eleventybillon pieces right now at 4 seperate locations.
