more time warner hell

okay. i haven't recieved a bill from time warner for like 2 months....i know i should have called sooner, but i kept putting it off untill today.

so i called today and let them know that i hadn't recieved a bill, and the lady was like, "your 51 days overdue, and we show that your last bill was returned to us" and so i said, "so why should i have to pay late charges if you guys know that i never recieved my bill" and she said "well you were still getting the service" and i said "so when you guys are doing repairs and my cable is down, then i shouldn't have to pay for that time?" and she said "exactly" and i said "well thats happened many times and i was never compensated" and she said "you have to call in to let us know that your service is down "and i said that i'd called the tech support office MANY times to let them know that my internet was down" and she said "you have to call billing, tech support is on a different system and i can't access it to see if you actually called"

so i've discovered a little "fault" with time warner....do you think they know about it....i'm sure they do....do you think they will ever do anything about it....i'm sure not

i'll bet that having their system set up in this way enables them to make millions of extra dollars that should have ended up back in the consumers pockets.....BIG MULTI-NATIONAL CONGLOMERATES ARE BAD

AOL & Time Warner are actually about to split up. And I got time warner too and I don't like them either but the cable company is pretty much a monoply so there isn't much you can do. I know I can cause I can't get direct-tv or anything even if I wanted too. Screw the cable company. I hate cable.

i used have roadrunner/cable and i used to get free service because i called tech support and complained about service being down, being slow, blah blah blah. i got almost 3 months of free sevice(not in a row) because they were late on their installs. Right now i have grande communication for cable and broadband and between the two, i choose timewarner. internet is slow(even though it is broadband, sometimes it feels like i am on 56k modem), they limit my down load to 1.5 max, with timewarner i sometimes got 3 or 4 meg download and usually download at 21/2 megs. but i do have to agree, cable companies are a monopoly.
