My 240sx VS. Honda prelude Si 89
 

Who would win I need you guys to be as honest as possible.

Brandon`s Mods:
-aftermarket muffler with stock piping
-tach w/ shift light
-16" rims with ventus tires
-custom short ram air intake
-Paint Job
and thats it.

Ryan`s mods (me)
-Air filter w/ adapter
-2.5" custom cat-back exhuast
-Removed AIV/PAIR valve system
-300zx fuel filter
-OBX short shifter
-NO a/c, didnt come with one, extra HP LOL :cool:

Here are my argunments:
-My car weighs 2600lbs vs he says 3000lbs but he thinks mine weighs more
- 140HP and 152 lbs of torque stock(ME) vs (HIM)135HP and 111 lbs of torque which he cliams to be 155 hp stock or sumthing like that
-RWD(MINE) vs (HIS)FWD
-I have more engine related mods becuase I have cat-back exhuats vs muffler with stock piping
-I have done a full tune up including oxy sensor
-I have a short shifter lol vs he doesnt
-240sx`s have a hydralic clutch vs. a played out cable clutch that doesnt exhist anymore for a reason

I listed all the stupid mods that dont have anything to do with engine performance because when I print this out for him I dont want him to say I forgot something. IF SOME ONE CAN FIND A LINK FOR THE STOCK 89 PRELUDE Si SPECS THAT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!
He also says once he installs his eiabach sprins he will blow me away so much worst even know I am about to buy eibach sportlines with kyb agx shocks, but he just wants to bounce around I guess.

You will EAT him up. Those preludes have NO torque at all. You will kill em by....a mile at least lol

No bench racing, take it to track and find out for sure.....but i do believe you will take him without any problems

Be careful... the paint job and the tach might give him that "extra advantage".

I'm joking. Bet him a $20 and buy us a 6-pack when you're done :thumb:

I stand corrected he has 126lbs of torque, I should bet him but I dont even have my license yet I dont want to start out doing bad things, who the hell races when they first get there license. You hear about those people dying. LOL

ryan you say who races when they first get their license? you must be planning to... cuz i swear everytime i see a post of yours your talking about how this guy or that guy wants to race and your gonna be faster and all this crap.
its starting to sound like your one of the guys who reads the mags and watched F&F and what not n think its all about street racing and drifting. just enjoy your car and stop trying to show off.
cuz trust me you arent gonna impress anybody when you wreck your car cuz you were atemping to drift your first week in the car or hit somthing cuz "this guy wanted to race me so i had to show him whats up". just let people run their mouth about whos cars better and know on your own that you the real top dawg.

one last thing.
you wanna race? take it to the strip.... thats why thier there.

I dont want to race at all!!!!!! I just like modifying my car, this is the second post I out on this topic. If I do race itll defenetly at track. I post these thing so I can show them so they can stop telling everyone my car is slow, and that there car is so superior to my car. STREET RACING IS HELLA DUMB, IM NOT GONNA DO IT!!!!! ESPECIALLY WHEN I FIRST GET A LICENSE

thats good. but think about this for a second.
are they really gonna give a crap what a bunch of 240 lovers have to say about a 240 that they think is slow?
hell no.
no matter how right we are (i agree you should win, i can beat one and im stock with an auto) they will always think your car is slow till its in their face. and more then likly they are still gonna blame it on suthing other then admiting our cars are better.

no hard feelings it just bugs me when i see or hear about a nissan being riced or driven by a ricer and apparently i got you wrong about that. are cars are better then that. thats why i dont like how trendy drifting has gotten. now its everywhere so now more and more dumbasses are getting our cars to be "drifters" i mean hey more power to them but that just means we are gonna start seeing some seriously riced out 240s now :angry: :anger2: :mad: :( :barf:

Thats why I posted it at www.preludepower.com as well, I lied about my age, but its the onyl way to get threw the honda ownders thick skulls. One guy has an 89 lude and a 89 s13 he says the prelude has an aftermarket cltuch, header,cai,and exhaust vs. 89 240sx with i/e only and his lude ran 16.1 and his 240sx ran 15.9 and o yea his prelude had agutted interior and his 240sx had a stock interior.

i had a 91 lude with a 5 speed new clutch, tran, and engine. and my 89 240sx coupe new trans and engine but an auto. and from the butt dyno i know my cars faster and my friend who bought the car thought the lude was faster so we raced and i killed him by almost two and a half car lengths and he isnt a bad driver either.
both stock btw. well other then my shaved head.
