i was watching i love lucy and i noticed they had 2 twin beds, not 1 king/queen.....was that common?

Dont know if it was but sure sounds weird...

Back in the day it was considered too risky to show a couple in the same bed on tv. Thats how conservative it used to be in the states.

If you remember they were also an inter-racial marriage so that might have been part of the twin twin beds.

ha ha ha thats right. i watch the show now and its like they are just any regular couple....but back then it must have been horrible
