Well, I don't know if I am just getting older or the tuners are getting younger.:dunno: I actually think it is a little of both. But it seems like most of my fellow local tuners are 6 - 10 years younger then me, but every once in a while I find a few old farts such as myself that just can't grow up and put the wrenches down. It seems that they either get married and have families and put the cars away or buy some clasic car. Well if getting married means I gotta quit with the imports then may I never get married.:nono:

Another sign of getting old is long winded posts like this one to ask a simple question so I will end it here.:D

Yes rrboyl, I do have a Mercedes, however I pay 1/2 the car payments each month--my parents don't want me to have a "free" car. And plus, I work and make good money and you get a better feeling knowing that you paid for your car (well at least 1/2 of it in my case). ;)

Awww come on guys. Don't give her too much sh!t about the Benz. We all know if we had parents that were going to buy our cars, we wouldn't turn it down. (and don't go claiming you would because we will all know it is BS)

Thanks AUTOBOT, but I've been down this route and it's not fun (I posted pics of my car when I first got it and I got so many hate responses that I just deleted my own thread). So let's just drop the subject of my car :( I love it and that's all I gotta say.

240Girl works damn hard to help her parents pay for her car. She may only be 18, but what were you guys doing at that age besides wacking off to your newest Stillen decal? NOT working 40+ hours a week to pay for a 30K car.

I'm so glad i stopped reading this...
unless i see or meet this person that accepts responsiblities as much as my friends do (that buy everything themselves), i think many people who are "preppy", and get cars delivered to them are irresponsible. I worked 2 jobs and slept for 4 hours a night for 2 years and i had a damn merc tracer. Everything I own is mine and solely mine and I'm proud of that, and heaven help you who doesn't appreciate it.
