They sometimes can. If you have good lighting like a street lamp or something.

I beg to differ. It's all about lighting. Yeah balck cars aren't as forgiving as light colored cars, but they can look a lot better (than light colored cars) with proper lighting. Keep this in mind..... when looking up at someone or something and you're facing the sun, how's the visual? Not so good right? You have to squint, can't see it that good. It's a silhouette. OK. So how about you turn your back from the sun and look at that same object. Now how's the view?

When taking night pics, make sure the camera is steady. Even a slight wiggle will blur the picture. Set the camera on top of something thats stationary. Put it on timer and click away. No flash. It should work great if you have a digital camera--put it on night setting.

But that lighting is perfect. My camera just isnt good at night pictures. Once in a blue-moon it'll take a really good one:

if i didnt have a ****ty scanner i would show you guys the good pics of my car at night

jake next time you go out to take pics at night bring a tripod and a spot light set your cam to bulb or extended shutter time and place the spot like oposing to where the camera is
