R.C. cars
 
any one into R.C. cars??? im into the hole xmod cars from radioshack. i have a nissan skyline with the allwheel drive kit and stage 2 drift motor for those of you who know what im talking about. I also painted it pink along with some other of my xmods like a civic and supra. I have also have a supra cop car in the making. if any one is into R.C. cars post what you like and what you got.

I got an X-mods Supra and a bunch of **** I bought for it, I messed with it for like a week and now it just sits in my room on the floor in its little case:confused:

hmm...has anyone tried one of those drift RC's? those look pretty sick...but its also $200+ a pop...maaayn...

yea i also got the skyline x mod with a stage 2 drift motor, my dads girlfriends son that lives with us (dont ask) got a supra and luckily i got to mess his up the first time i tried to do the swap haha so then i figured it out on his and did it right on mine and i'd always beat him and he'd wonder why hahahaha. but that only lasted for about a week after christmas now mine just collects dust.

It's actually a little under $500 when you buy all the other things you need... the Yokomo Drift cars is the car only - you still ned a radio controller, speed control, battery, charger, AA batteries for the radio controller, paint for the body, super glue for the tires, I think you need a motor too (not sure - didn't check their website for specs), plus you have to assemble the thing. I tell you though - the chassis used is based on a world championship winning car... I used to work for an R/C magazine and an R/C manufacturer for a few years and I was all into the competitive R/C scene. Very addicting, especially if you're competitive and you get into local parking lot racing :thumb:

BTW these aren't referred to as toys anymore, they're referred to as R/C models, since you build them, upgrade them, etc. I think the XMODS car also fits into this label IMO, unlike those other Radio Shack "disposable" R/C cars :D

If i had the money and a lttle more intrest i would get that 180sx RC drifter. I cant remember who made them, but i saw an add in the latest Turbo Mag.

I like them 180sx Rc's. They look nice, and you can change a bit of stuff on them i here.

Nah... I sold all my R/C stuff about 2 years ago when I got out of the hobby, although I'm thinking of buying the Yokomo car because... well, I miss the hobby :D
