apparently just because your ammo is on the recall list it still may be good. however, i did hear from a guy at work about someone who blew up his ar using american eagle. so .45 may not be the only affected caliber. i've been unable to speak with anyone at the phone number provided bit i did leave a message and hope to get some clarification.

brown bear is not bad as long as you know what to expect from steel cased ammo.

speaking of the ak, i just can't find another saiga 223 anywhere. i did however find some more magazines for mine. i already have some promags that are a bit flimsy but only cost about $20 and not the $30 like surefire mags sell for. fortunately tapco makes some for the galil which fit the saiga 223, and only cost about $15. what i'd really like to find out is if the original galil mags will work on the saiga .223 becuase they cost about $10.

well at the moment all Saiga weapons are hard to find since the Izhmash factory stopped producing small arms. they are moving production to a new factory in russia but there hasnt been any new shipments
