I post at work... T1 is a beautiful thing, especially when you've got it all to yourself.

Local Energy Utility. All you need to get in here is clean urine, a high school diploma and a driver’s license.

If you are a skilled worker you will benefit from not having to read meters for a year at the entry level.

We have the internet on our PCs. Usage is being cut though. Now we have to log in with our individual accounts so the company can track use. No more freewheeling hours of fun.

I work for the American distributor for a UK manufacturer. I've been here since the start, and I set the network up.

Then I ordered the T1 line (ok, it's only 1/2 T1 for data, 1/2 for 12 phone lines). Through XO, the T1 solution is actually cheaper than our monthly phone bill alone was previously for 8 lines.

The funny thing is, we were also talking to MCI/WorldCom about buying their services. WorldComm's entire sales pitch centered around questioning the financial stability of their competitors. For months afterwards, the sales person from WorldComm would call me just to let me know that the stock had dipped on one of their competitors. I finally told the little troll skank that if she had a better service to offer or a better price to quote I'm more than willing to hear it. If all she had to sell was bull$hit, take it somewhere else. She hasn't called back since.

That marketing approach probably doesn't work for WorlComm anymore since their public scandal.
