old plates, i'm not going to pay to channge them. I'd rather break then fix something on my car. :)

edit: we have plows

What make/model is that red car . . .it looks pretty cool under the snow, but I can't make heads or tails of it.

non-running 77 ford GT-40 (kit car) Chevy 350(?) engine.
Reason it's not running - can't find a starter for it because we're not sure which engine it is tried the starter off a 305: didn't fit, tried a starter off a 350: fit, but not all the way. The engine has 16 miles on it, and then the starter went out and autozone gave us the wrong one and lost the original. The guy that installed the engine doesn't know which engine it is...

USMCDrifter 03-02-2009 04:30 PM

I believe NAPA can get you setup if you give them the engine code on the block. I believe! Don't quote me on that, I remember my kit-car buddies (Locosts and such) getting starters not based on the make/model but on the engine code. Some even had them ordered by specifying the bolt pattern/layout and number of teeth on the flywheel.

I'm just throwing that out there, I'm almost positive that you've thought of all that already, just saying. I dunno, maybe it's worth a whirl.

Meh, it's not my car, I honestly don't give two pirate ships about it.
My dad just bugs me to fix it and I just worry about my car.

USMCDrifter 03-02-2009 04:36 PM

Well, if you all ever wish to part ways with it, let me know, I'll talk to Higgins, I'm sure they'd love a project and I'd love a new track toy ^_^

Actually he is looking to sell it, 10k i think. I'll double check with him about the price though.
