Had all four taken out. The good thing one was they put me to sleep, my other friends were awake while getting their teeth pulled.

I am getting mine pulled soon but it will only be the top two. The other two teeth are not going to get pulled because they are connected to a major nerve or something like that. My question is why would'nt they put me to sleep?

I got mine done when I was 18, and that same night I went out, and took an elbow in the jaw. Damn thing was swollen about the size of a softball. Hurt like sh*t.

I'd be so pissed, I'd bust out the baseball bat and start busing some heads

Id recommend getting the pulled early as possible. I waited for like a year, but during that year my wisdom teeth got infected and made me sick like 10 times that year. I had no idea it was the teeth that made me feverish until one of my friends had the same problem. The day I got mine pulled, I had a tempature of like 103 and a sore throat. Kid you not, 2 hours after the operation, the sore throat went away and my fever went away. So do it ASAP.

I just got them out in November, I turned 18 in February... I was put to sleep, thank Jeebus. You have to take care of them! Mine got infected and had to be reopened. They generally do not give you anesthetic when they do, so it just happened to be on of the most painful things I have gone through.

yeah i heard dry sockets hurt like crazy. mine healed up fine, besides the massive swelling, i didnt have any problems, and I still have a whole bottle of pain killers left over.
