You know you own an S12/S13/S14 etc when...
 

We have one of these in each of the BMW Threads . . . i.e. "you know you own an E34 when" or "you know you own an E36 if/when..."

Figured it'd be a riot to see what you guys have to say about them...

So I'll get the ball rolling . . . .

You know you own an S13 when...

-You do double takes at Ford Probes when looking at them from the front.

-When everyone you run into asks you if you "drift".

-When you have honestly had to sit down and "soul search" for the answer to one of the following:

Keep the stock front end or change it out?
To engine swap or not to engine swap?

-If you've ever raced a Honda, you've cut the race early to avoid hitting the governor.

-If you've ever looked back at your car after a long drive and said to yourself "it's sleeping".

-If you've ever used the word "Touge" in a serious conversation.

I'm sure there are more . . .lets hear em, maybe this will get stickied or something ^_^

-your power steering leaks so bad people know where you go by following the red trail.
-your water bottle has cancer.
-Your trunk fills with water from the spoiler holes.
-you rip out your entire interior because people told you it's cool.
-everyone asks you if you have an SR.
-everybody asks you if you drift.
-you tell people your KA will beat an SR and they tell you to enjoy your reefer.

-rip around town daily
-heel tow and rev match everywhere
-dont slow down at the corners
-go like a % of 1mph over speedbumps and railroad tracks.
-tires chirp everywhere becasue of your welded diff
-normal "do you drift questions?"
-fill up $5 to $10 at a time. $10 is max.
-when your told, "that can is insanley low! how do you get around town?"
-when your asked if you have airbags becasue your phucking sitting on the ground. haha

i dunno those are some ones i thought of.

-When your car is boro and jacked up, but you think its cool "Drift" style
-When you use ****ty Hardware Spray Paint store to paint it, making is worse
-When you make stupid arguments of SR vs KA, every god damn second
-When you call a 240sx a Silvia or 180sx, when it blatantly isn't either
-When you weld your diff so you can do some "Mad tyte Dori Action"
-When you log on to C240 and post "which motor is better..." every day

-if you're cheaper than an s13 owner (95% of the s12 board)
-if you always flake out (s12 board again)
-if you finally get a chance to be part of an aftermarket parts group buy to get things made such as fiberglass hoods but flake or don't join because you're too cheap or picky and the group buy never ever goes through and aftermarket parts NEVER GET MADE (s12 board again)
-if people tell you you have a nice corolla

you think you're better than everyone else
you're glad your car will never have rust
your paint looks great in pictures but not in person
you pull into the dealership and 3 techs ask if it's a skyline
the only other s-chassis you like is s13 coupe
you buy premium gas even if your car isn't turbocharged or swapped
you will never dare leave anything primered or flat colored

you know you own an s14 when

youre too scared to **** **** up
you don't use zipties
you can only do **** "the right way"

-you know you own a s14 when your radio trim is broken in 3 places
-you know you own a 240 when your insurance for a 1996 rwd sportscar is cheaper then insurance for a 1990 honda econobox
-you know you own a s14 when your car is better then stigs bimmers LOL jk i like your bimmers

LMAO @ The premium comment . . . .I guess it's fun to do it if you don't HAVE to do it . . . .but when your engine requires it, you have a 22 gallon tank and you only get 20ish miles per gallon on the highway . . . it starts to suck :(

S14 Kouki, there is no substitute

You know you own an s13 when...
--You cruise wrecking yards and pull out all radio/shifter trims that are intact
--You cut the brown wire (lol)
--You want an s14
--People you've never even seen ask when you're putting an SR in it.
