remember that engine is ****ed... if your timing belt breaks you usually bend valve and score pistons. its nice and clean but just think like your buying a shell with a blown motor.

i say get and slap a rb26 in it lol

240driftfiend 07-21-2008 11:09 PM

well thats pretty much exactly what i was thinking lol i found this site with a rb26dett for $3300 only problem is i dont know how many miles or anything about the company its osakajdmmotors.com

battosaii930 07-22-2008 04:51 AM

ive heard good things about osaka motors

NiSmO Knight 07-22-2008 11:11 AM

I can tell you one thing about Z32's... they suck duck balls!

I used to own a 92... runs great when it runs, but once one thing breaks, something else will follow shortly. Its basically a Nissan badged BMW, nothing works right once it goes bad.

And for the $, I'd say 2J an S14 (or S13) with an R154 tranny. Now that thing would fly.

Bumnah 07-22-2008 11:14 AM

people put sr20s in z32s also. if you got the $ for a project car go for it.

DO NOT BUY FROM OSAKA.
Terrible. I've heard countless bad reviews and my friend Andy got his motor from them, took 6 months to get the problems resolved. sadly the new replacement motor wasn't all that great either.

The RB26 won't fit with the two blowers.
You're better off putting an RB25 in it.

Mia culpa, that should have been RB25 not RB35.

240driftfiend 07-22-2008 02:35 PM

well after looking over everything it turns out i dont have as much "toy funds" as i thought i did, so i think i might just try to trade that firebird i have just sitting taking up space for a 240 or an old supra

Die Trying 07-22-2008 02:44 PM

i would buy that car for 2 grand max. i think 3500 is too much. if he was closer to me i would take that thing off his hands and build it up.

i think you would be better off finding a non turbo Z to do a rb swap because TT owners always seem to want more than their worth

That is seriously true, one guy found out I used to own a Z, tried to sell me his STOCK TT, wanted 20K for it...

I've never seen so many people at one shop laugh along with me. Never...
