...if i have a bad tension rod bushing... how will it affect the car? i think mine may be bad...

With bad tension rod bushings, your caster angle will be off most likely. If you look at them from under the car, you may be able to see the liquid gooey stuff leaking out from the stock rubber bushings. When you brake, the steering wheel also shakes.
