1990 240 fastback for sale
 

Ok, so here's the deal. I bought this 240 that I knew didn't run. I was going to try to get it running to fairly cheap. After testing and searching, I discovered that it was a blown head gasket. So, I cracked open the engine, and I saw that the cylinder was all scratched up, and the piston was fried! Oh well, I'm not going to sweat over it.

I wanted to do the engine swap with my tax money, but that wasn't near enough ($150).

It would be well worth it for the swap if I had the money. However, I don't. As a result, I am selling the car.

The body is in great condition, with very little dings. The tranny works, it's just the engine that's not running.

It's the fastback, black, power windows, powerlocks, removable sunroof, automatic, cd player. I have tested everything else, and all seems to work except for the engine. Anyway, just hit me up with an offer at my email addy whiteknight48@eudoramail.com

I really don't think it is that difficult to change it to a manual. I mean, you are already going to have everything out for the engine swap anyway.

ive heard its sum wut of a ***** to find the clutch pedal, or maybe im wrong...haha. id just rather get a manual then go threw the trouble to do a man. to auto conver.

i looked into it, auto change-over would be almost as much as i would be paying for the car.........anybody know of a s13 MANUAL for sale near or around charlotte? really need one soon motor should be here shortly

huh...seems i have a spare manual tranny....driveshaft,shifter,brake and clutch pedal, slave cyl,hard lines and all that sitting in my driveway.........

Minus the tranny and accessories, changing over from an auto to manual shouldn't be that much money. And, if you have access to the tools, then you can do it yourself.

problem one..............cant do it myself wouldnt trust myself with it
and two i dont really know anybody who would, cuz i dont even need the motor, i need everything but a motor and a tranny:dunno:

Yup. I am waiting to hear from someone that looked at it on Monday. If I don't get any more offers by this weekend, I am going to put it up on ebay.

Yes, I have the title sitting on my computer desk right now.
