I have a used [only for like 4 months or so] GTR style wing that i'm looking to sell, have been taken in by the drifting bug and have retured to the type-X tail. I'm looking to get about 200.oo or so out of it, shipping cost will not be to bad if your willing to pick it up at your local greyhound bus station [there shipping cost rock hardcore], well just let me know. The wing is mint, no crack, clean as can be.

this is the only other pic i have of the rear, a guy in aussie made them for me, he called them the drifters special. $95 for em. +shipping, but that was to bad

malicex000 10-09-2002 09:30 AM

95 + shipping... does that include the lights ? or do i have to send me lights there... what do they do to the lights exactly... ?

Isn't it just the brake light paint that they use. They sell a can for like $12 a can or something. They tint the rear brake lights so they look smoked when off and show the color mostly when the brakes are hit. If you do a bad job they will show. YOu will be able to see the paint run when the lights are on, so Be careful!!

"YOu will be able to see the paint run when the lights are on, so Be careful"

what do u mean ?

StanBo 10-09-2002 02:11 PM

You have to take your time painting anything. If you start off slow and steady it will look good. Too much of a good thing will lead to "Runs" aka streaks or drips.

Plus the weather beats the piss out of that tint and it starts to flake and **** after a while.

there is a 3layer clear coat on the lights, and haven't any probs with it yet, its been done for like 2 years now
