Not to get on your sale and butt in, but you sure it's short throw? From what I know, Nismo makes a solid shifter.

Nismo solid shifter for any 89 to 98 240sx. Will work with both SR and KA tranny(NO S15 tranny). Due to the design of the shifter it'll allow shorter throw for faster shifting. Instock now order while you can. $200 plus shipping.
