I bought this car as a non-running car. I have not disassembled the motor yet. However, I can tell you that just from pulling the valve cover that the motor jumped timing and it was run completely dry of any coolant. I do not know if the head gasket is blown or if there is a hole in the block somewhere. I've pulled the engine and do not see a hole in the block, but there could be a hole in one of the sleeves. Like I said I don't really know. The motor and transmission had 130,000 on them. The guy told me the tranny was fine and shifted great. I never got to drive it so I don't know. I'm putting a ka24de in the car now so I need to get rid of these. The motor and tranny are from a 1990 240sx and I'm only looking to get $125 for the motor and $150 for the tranny. All accessories are included except for the harnesses which are already sold. If the price seems too steep then shoot me an offer. I'd also prefer not to ship these so local pickup only. I bought a ka24de motor set from another board member here that is located in Murfreesboro. He was doing a ca18det so I bought the ka24de, tranny, harness, and computer for $250.

 

anyone? I am also willing to ship at buyer's expense. If no buyers then I'll end up parting the motor and tranny out.
