i have an rb20 in my 240sx. a friend of mine told me to put a t fitting in the vacum hose from the turbo to the wastegate, then said it would boost to 11psi. i tried it and the car falls on its face. 1st gear i can get it to 8psi when i shift to 2nd it will only make 3 to 4psi of boost. what could it be. thanx guys

 

just put it back to normal

 

i did it did'nt fix it i dont know what else to do

 

ahh then i dont know, all i have is a twin cam ka lol

 

If u T'd off the vacuume line where did u hook up the 3rd nipple to? if its just dieing sounds like a vacuume leak.
