Need new picture for front page!
 

So we want to update our graphic on the front page and get rid of the current s14 picture. We need suggestions and ones that can be used without breaking any copyrights or what not. My thought was to have three frontal views, one of each generation, side by side. Lets hear what you guys think.

but any 240 will do for me as long as it's not a rice bucket

or the fronts of each generation, sounds el good-o to me.

Both are excellent ideas. If you do the three generation then definitely use the gray S14 in the sig.

3 generations? not many people on here have a s15?

what about 6 front views s13 z,c,k s14 z,k and s15?

i like the time attack car idea. but the 3 diff gens of the s chassis would be cool as well. what about layout color? will the red/black/white be changed as well or just the front page?

We do want to work the time attack car into the site when we can as it will be sort of the mascot for the site.

While the s15 is not plentiful here, and its not a 240, there is something about the 3 generation progression that I like. Using all different variations of every generation would be hard to do and end up looking a bit like a collage.

The effect I was going for in that though is to find three dead on frontal views from roughly the same height and put them side by side. Then photoshop in a little shadow to make it look like one picture. This would not be easy, and I would need anyones help finding the pics to use.

And yet another option would be to rotate out many pics so that every time you loaded or as little as once a week, the picture changed. Just rotate any cool silvia/240 pic we can.

you should show the pic with his car all over the track...it looks cool

I think it would be a sweet picture to have all 3 generations of silvia's drifting around a corner or something with the s13 at the rear and the s15 up front. You'd shoot the picture from like the inside of the corner and get a good front/side shot of all the cars.

But it's not about drifting so I dunno. Definitely not a bowl of rice though please.

Also its hard to get a true s15 owner to slide his car. They're usually up tight about their rides. I do have some pictures of 240s sliding.

Those weren't my pictures so I can't post it here. It would be right to contact the photographer and see if they could use it.
