From Civic to 240

Hey whats goin on! I technically dont have a 240 yet... but its just a matter of time... i'm in the process of selling my '99 Civic Si for a '95+ 240. Getting tired of the whole FWD torquess wonder. It was fun.. but definitly time to move on.
I've read the FAQ's on what to look out for in terms of a used 240.. but anyone have any other insights on what areas to focus on? I pretty much have the car planned out already.. sr20det is a must... I havent done much research on this yet so this might just sound stupid.. haha... but i've heard the s15 front ends are fairly easy to put on an s14? I definitly need a good suspension (auto-x baby!)... not really into the body kit thing.. just clean lines with a lot of performance :thumb: Here are some crappy quality pictures of my Si (if anyone really cares.. haha) |

pic #2
(btw... my valve cover stayed that color for about 3 hours.. only till i had enough time to strip it and repaint it... that color looked hideous) |
 Welcome to the forums, hope ya like it here. The S15 front conversion isnt exactly easy..but not to hard. Time consuming for sure and might be a little frustrating with the fitment. It is VERY pricey though

welcome. JynX pretty much nailed it. oh, and for the 'S15 front' to fit, u need some kinda conversion kit (unless u got bodywork skills like that). btw, the Si looks pretty smooth.:thumb:

how pricey we talkin for the s15 front end?
|
Including paint and etc., the price can be anywhere from 4,300-6,000
|
thats not 4300-6000 for a whole front clip from an s15 is it?(as in engine and stuff) just body pannels right? i'm assuming like front 1/4 pannels, hood, headlights, front bumper cover... that kinda stuff?
