Coupe or Fastback? whats the preference?

Not sure if this has been covered, maybe it has if so please direct me to the link .

But i been searching around on my quest to wanting a S13 i cant decide which i prefer, a coupe or a fastback/hatchback.

Notice most own fastback, is there a reason for that or just cause?

I find them both to be nice in there own ways, im leaning towards a coupe but at times find myself wanted a fastback. Also there tends to be more fastbacks availible for sale.

what do u guys say, why did u choose the model you have?

The hatch is definitely more popular but I've owned two coupes so far. Modding this coupe and would like a hatch for a daily driver.

my hatch has come in handy before when having to move stuff. with the rear seats folded flat, that space turned out to be a lot bigger than it looks. also, i just like the way the hatch looks =P

I fit a washer in the back of mine laying down. The hatch didn't close all the way though.

Personally I think the coupes are more popular, and much harder to come by. I'd love a coupe. I just wanna do the kouki front end swap on it like the silver enjuku drift car.

I like the coupe taillights more, but the roofline doesnt go with the USDM front end. Thats why I love my convertible.

The reason you see more hatches is because more were produced. The coupe weighs a little less than the hatch and is technically stiffer. Other than that they are the same.

well the JDM 180SX front bumper is about the same as the USDM..you wouldn't notice unless you knew what to look for..the coupe on the other hand, that facia is alot different...in my view..the SilEigthy is the hottness...or just a 180SX Type X

What??? The JDM chuki front and the USDM chuki front are the same. Are you talking about the Type X? And the Silvia front on the Coupe looks better because thats how it was originally engineered. Boxy front should go with boxy back.
