Welcome, what are you planning?

I was hoping on investing on a s13 or s14 as a starter car just to get me to and from school since I'm going to be enrolling in an automotive tech school, which is good because I can work on my car in school with no installions fee. I love drifting but I live in nyc and Idk I think it would be a bit unreasonable as a daily driver. I'm thinking a few engine mods as well as suspension mods. I'm on a budget as well which is tough.. But I need some pointers as well as info about the car itself.

You should do suspension/brake work first, then worry about power. A nice set of coilovers + Z32 brakes would be great.

Btw, daily driving your drift car isn't bad, I do it, as do countless other people.

HAHA, I am glad I get cheap ass tires. I go through a set every month because I daily my drift car. That is going to change soon though as I am going to be driving my other 240. Welcome to the site BTW.

With a welded diff, you will run through tires like crazy. But if you have an open diff, VLSD, or LSD, then it will be normal, as long as you aren't doing stupid **** on the streets.
