I Bet Yall Are Sick Of These Newbie Posts!

Well I'd like to welcome myslelf. My name is Shaughn I was a huge fan of turbo Hondas and stuff but finally realized that turbo+FWD=no no. Plus, Hondas were never meant for turbo, so sooner or later(sooner for me) the motor will blow, no matter how much tuning you do!

I want to get a 95 240SX, but I hear that the wiring of an SR20DET is a pain! I know that I should search and all, but this is a newbie forum isn't it?

Anyway, what kind of problems do you guys usually run into when swapping in this motor? What parts are not included when you purchase the swap. I hear that most places don't include a blow-off valve and downpipe.

Well I look forward to increasing my Nissan knowledge on this website. Thanks and take care everyone.

welcome dude, have fun and such

The wiring is NOT hard at all..if ya have an idea of wut ur doing it aint hard at all. Theyre are sum wiring diagrams out there. They usually dont kome with downpipes..and thats pretty much it. You might wanna replace sum parts like the belts..water pump..oil pan if its really banged up.

Welcome

Every vendor is different when it comes to the SR20, your best bet is to call whoever and find out. If you buy a front clip it will have everything needed, hopefully including an uncut wiring harness.
