I'm new..

I just bought this car on ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=300234047427

I got it for it 1800. I own a 01 Mustang Cobra with basic bolt ons and before that I had a 95 GT with bolt ons, before that a 97 Prelude. I'm pretty good with cars and I am an ASE Certified Parts Specialist. I plan on s13 front end conversion and an SR20DET swap in the future. First thing I am going to try to get polyurethane bushings all around so I'll have a good base to start with as I'm sure the stock ****ty rubber is worn out all over the car by now.

I guess my first question is do any of ya'll have any idea what the tapping/rattling noise between 2-3k rpm might be he describes, maybe a common problem with these cars ?And what about wiring up the speedo ?He told me all I would need would be a harness, if so could someone direct me to where I can get one?

What color wheels do you think would look best on a gold car like this?

are these common problems? well lets just say that there is a lengthy list of "you know you own a 240 when..." those two are on the list.

it's probably just the upper timing chain guide, it can be removed.
