My S14, all the way from Sydney Australia....

Hello all,

I stumbled across this site whilst checking out some of the finer 240'S coming out of America. I am from Australia, just north of Sydney and enjoy all things Nissan. Fortunately, here in Australia we received the Silvia range S13 - S15 in turbo varients. Here is my 1997 S14a 'Kouki' (200SX as it is known in Australia).

It features all the usual bolt-ons and is quite a reasonable daily driver, however gets a workout of weekends through some of our better roads.

Engine -
SR20-DET
- Freshly rebuilt head including RAS
- 3" Stainless, Turbo back exhaust with hi flow cat
- Custom Rigoli front mounted intercooler
- Hi flowed Garrett T28 turbo
- K&N pod filter and custom made air-box enclosure
- Bosch 040 fuel pump
- Turbosmart bleed value, 12 psi
- Turbosmart Supersonic blowoff valve

Wheels & Tyres/Suspension/Drivetrain -
- Protech & Wheeltech 17" x 8", +35 offset wheels (Soon to be upgraded, have just purchased a set of RacingHart CR's in silver 18"x8.5 +21 offset (f) & 18"x9.5 +21 offset)
- King Springs (Super lows)
- KYB shockabsorbers
- Greddy front strut brace
- RPM cushioned button clutch

Exterior -
- Factory Nissan 'Luxury' body in factory 'Jungle Green'
- Veilside rear pods (brings the rear inline with front lip/side skirts)
- Tinted windows 16% - all round
- Tinted front indicators and clear side indicators
- Meshed rear reflectors

Interior -
- Stock, bar a mild sound system & Autometer gauges (Boost & AFR)

Any feed back welcome, btw, nice forum you guys have here.

Cheers,
Grant

Cheers for the warm welcome guys . Overall quite happy with the car, plans for the car include some more suspension work (thicker swaybars/new bushes) and some brake work.

It would probabaly appear that way at first glance (what do they say, the grass is always greener), however, we didn't receive that many Jap vehicle models dealer delivered.

Alot of cars in our import seen are 'grey' imports; i.e. Skyline GTS-t/GTR's / Honda NSX / Mitsubishi EVO 1-8 / Toyota Supra etc. There's definately no shortage here in Sydney of these cars but they were never Aus delivered from factory.

Oh well, at least our S Series nissan's were factory delivered!

Update - Guards were rolled and slightly pulled (5mm) last night in prep for the Racing Harts!
