Hey All,

Wanted to say hello to this forum. :wave: I got my '89 late last year. Right now I am just fixing some of the problems that she has to get her ready to pass smog. This is a secondary car that I want to make as a daily driver.

A friend of mine is going to be putting a RB25DET in his '95, later on this year. I'll be able to snag his KA24DE and drop that in my car. For now it is just stock. There is the picture of her in my sig. :thumb:

i'm getting my 1991 240sx pretty soon.....the KA has about 75k on it..... i think the guy is selling it to me is pretty dumb or so.....for about $2000, HA i say that's a hella good deal

Nah XLR8R, the guy I bought her off of is pretty dumb. I got it for $400.00 :D w/ 92K mileage. No major body damage, just some dents here and there. The only problems she has are ECU error codes #12 and #14 and that the HUD & cluster are not working properly.

Whats funny is that a lot of the stuff that I want to buy for the car is going to cost more than what I paid for her. :p

DOnt use a Twin Cam KS jsut get a CA18 they are super cheap and cool.

You will like it alot more.

I think you meant KA instead of KS, right?

The reason why I am not going with a JDM engine is because I don't have the connections to pass smog with those engines. I also work for the GOV. and don't need any bad marks on my record by getting caught or something. But if I had a second 240, I'd drop in a JDM engine and have it as my track slut and not have to worry about the smog.
