new blood

Hey everyone. I've been looking over these boards for the past while now, deciding on what I should be going with and everything else. So, I finally made an account to post and get suggestions and everything else from you all as well as help as much as I can. I'm not the most mechanically inclined person, so all of the how-to's have been pretty inciteful, and now I know where to go whenever I'm in need of help.

A little about me - I'm 22 from Melbourne, FL. Basically, I moved over here last year from the other coast, and know absolutely nobody. Kinda hoping that maybe a few people that are on these boards are from this area, if so, maybe I can learn a few things from ya. ;)

I've had my 90 hatchback since late July 03, and it's pretty much stock. Nothing done engine wise, but I do have 17" Kazera KZ-Vs and I was dumb and put on a fart can forever and a day ago.. Reason behind this was that I had a hole in my exhaust (actually in the cat itself I believe from what I was told), and my muffler was basically garbage, so I just spent the 40$ online, and then the 60$ for the straight pipe, and I called it done until I start doing things to the car. No rust really, just a tiny bit in the roof by the doors.

Pretty much I don't know what I'm doing mechanically, so at least I may be able to learn some things here on these forums, and if someone does live in my area, I may just be able to learn a whole lot more... I'm really wanting to do the interior myself, so if I ask a bunch of dumb questions right away about that, forgive me?

Anywho, thanks for reading.

Why's that?

The forum is about to go through some major and great changes. Things have been going downhill the last couple of months with little posting, moderation and spam out of control. The new guys rock but we still had one or two good moderators like s13 240 and Levi SPL S14.
