new guy

I'm Phil, from Lansing, MI.

I'm considering getting a 240, and am trying to read up on them so I know what I'm getting myself into.

If anyone has any tips as far as things to look for, potential problems with the S-chassis cars, do's and don'ts, that would be awesome.

Hey the new Dodge Caravans are pretty nice man lol

I would buy a Z then, but the 240sx is a great build starter car in my opinion.

240's can be as much of a headache as any other project. i say find a 240 you like, change the fluids, replace the belts, hoses, grease any joints and be happy.

lol. Yeah, I'm not a fan of minivans. Know a few people with 240's. I like the way the look. I'm a big nissan fan. Never owned one, but am saving up for one. I'm aware that owning any older japanese car, especially those running parts that were never sold stateside, can get expensive. The only problem I'm having so far, is that I live in Michigan. There are almost no decent 240's for sale here that are stock, clean, and such. most all of them are rusted, poorly modded, wrecked or extremely high mileage.
